Privacy Policy

Your stay should feel effortless — and so should knowing what happens with your data. Below you find what we collect, why, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of your personal data is the company operating Little King Hotels & Residences in Prague, Czech Republic. Full company and registration details, including the registered address and contact person for data protection, will be stated here. Until then you can reach us at reception@littleking.cz

2. What data we collect

  • Booking and stay data — name, date of birth, nationality, address, ID or passport data required by Czech law for the guest book, arrival and departure dates, room and rate details, special requests.
  • Contact data — e-mail address and phone number used for confirmations and guest support.
  • Payment data — processed by our payment gateway; we never store full card numbers.
  • Communication — e-mails, WhatsApp and phone enquiries you send us.
  • Website data — cookies, device and browser information, pages visited and anonymous statistics (see section 7).

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • Performance of a contract — to confirm and deliver your reservation, check you in and handle payment.
  • Legal obligation — accommodation and guest records, accounting and tax documents required by Czech legislation.
  • Legitimate interest — securing our website, preventing fraud, resolving complaints and defending legal claims.
  • Consent — analytics and marketing cookies, and optional newsletters or offers. You can withdraw consent at any time.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for: reservation and stay records for the period required by accommodation and accounting rules, contract and invoicing data for the statutory archiving period, and consent-based data until you withdraw your consent. Afterwards the data is deleted or anonymised.

5. Who we share it with

We share data only with partners who help us provide your stay: our booking and property management system, payment gateway, accounting and IT providers, and public authorities where the law requires it. All processors are bound by confidentiality and data-processing agreements. We do not sell your personal data.

6. Transfers outside the EU

Your data is processed within the European Economic Area. If a provider processes data outside the EEA, we ensure an adequate level of protection, typically through the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

7. Cookies

Necessary cookies keep the site and the booking process working and are always active. Analytics cookies help us understand how guests find us, and marketing cookies allow us to show relevant offers for stays in Prague — both only with your consent. You choose your preference in the cookie bar shown on your first visit, and you can change it any time by clearing the cookies stored by this site in your browser.

8. Your rights

  • Access to the data we hold about you and a copy of it.
  • Correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure, where there is no legal reason to keep it.
  • Restriction of processing and the right to object.
  • Data portability of data you provided under a contract or consent.
  • Withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting past processing.
  • Complaint to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů).

9. Security

Our website and checkout run over encrypted connections, payments go through a PCI-compliant gateway, and access to guest data is limited to team members who need it for your stay.

10. Contact and changes

For any request regarding your personal data write to reception@littleking.cz We answer within one month. If this policy changes, we publish the new version on this page with an updated date.
